Kindred brings your whole family together in one warm, private place. Build your family tree with the people in it, discover where everyone comes from, share everyday moments and never miss the days that matter.

Invite relatives as collaborators to fill in their own branches, or as viewers who can look, like and comment. Only the family members you invite can see your tree, and there are no ads and no third-party tracking.

Kindred works on iPhone, Android and the web at kindredplace.app, in English, Hebrew, Spanish, French, Russian and Arabic, with full right-to-left support.

Frequently asked questions

Is Kindred free?

Yes. Kindred is free to use on Android, on iPhone and in your web browser, with no ads.

Who can see my family tree?

Only the family members you invite. Your tree and your family feed are private, and Kindred has no ads and no third-party tracking. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

Can relatives help build the tree?

Yes. Invite relatives by WhatsApp, email, SMS or an invite code. Collaborators can add people, photos, posts and events for their own branches, viewers can look, like, comment and message, and admins manage members and roles. A full change history with undo keeps every edit safe.

Which devices does Kindred work on?

Kindred has apps for iPhone and iPad (App Store) and for Android phones and tablets (Google Play), and runs on any computer in the browser at kindredplace.app. The same family tree is shared across all of them.

Which languages does Kindred support?

English, Hebrew, Spanish, French, Russian and Arabic, with full right-to-left layouts for Hebrew and Arabic. You can choose the app's language whatever your phone is set to.

Can I keep more than one family tree?

Yes. Create as many trees as you like, such as your side and your partner's side, and switch between them or see everyone at once in the All families view.

Can children use Kindred?

Yes. Children under 13 can join with a parent's approval.
